This Privacy Policy explains how Full Settlements collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, complete our online questionnaire, submit an enquiry, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services.

Full Settlements helps individuals who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents determine whether they may be suitable for an introduction to a participating law firm.

We may verify your telephone number using a one-time passcode or similar verification method.

We ask only for general information about the type of injury you report through the website. We do not request medical records, detailed treatment histories, medical-provider records, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or insurance policy numbers through the Full Settlements questionnaire.

When you use our website, we and service providers acting on our behalf may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • IP address;

  • Operating system;
  • Referral source;
  • Pages or features viewed;
  • Date and time of visits;
  • Website interactions;
  • Cookie or device identifiers; and
  • Advertising and conversion information.

We may use cookies, pixels, APIs, server-side conversion technologies, and similar tools to collect this information.

We generally collect information:

  • Directly from you;

  • Contact you regarding your enquiry;
  • Facilitate an introduction to a participating law firm;

We do not use information submitted through Full Settlements to provide medical advice or make medical diagnoses.

3. How We Disclose Your Information

We may disclose personal information in the circumstances described below.

Participating Law Firm

If your enquiry appears suitable for an introduction, we may disclose your information to one participating law firm for the purpose of facilitating that introduction.

Full Settlements does not operate as a marketplace in which your enquiry is simultaneously distributed to multiple law firms.

The participating law firm is an independent organisation and may process information it receives in accordance with its own privacy practices and legal obligations.

Service Providers

We may provide personal information to companies that help us operate Full Settlements, including:

  • Call centre and intake providers;
  • Telephone and SMS providers;
  • Telephone-number verification providers;
  • CRM providers;
  • Database and hosting providers;
  • Website and technology providers;
  • Analytics providers;
  • Advertising and conversion-measurement providers; and
  • Other operational service providers.

These providers may process information as necessary to perform services on our behalf or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Advertising and Analytics Providers

We use advertising and measurement technologies, including services provided by Meta.

Information relating to your use of Full Settlements, interaction with advertising, and certain conversion events may be transmitted through browser-based technologies such as the Meta Pixel and server-side technologies such as Meta’s Conversions API.

This information may be used to measure advertising performance, understand whether advertising results in enquiries, improve campaign effectiveness, and perform related analytics and advertising functions.

Legal and Safety Disclosures

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, court order, or governmental request;
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of Full Settlements, our users, participating law firms, or others;
  • Investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or unlawful activity; or
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Business Transfers

If the business operating Full Settlements undergoes or considers a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, insolvency, or similar corporate transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with that transaction, subject to applicable law.

4. Participating Law Firms and Commercial Relationships

Full Settlements is a consumer marketing and lead-generation service. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation.

Where appropriate, Full Settlements may facilitate an introduction between you and an independent participating law firm.

The participating law firm may compensate the business operating Full Settlements for marketing and lead-generation services connected with that introduction.

A participating law firm is independent from Full Settlements. Once your information has been provided to a law firm, that firm’s own privacy practices and legal obligations may also apply.

5. Calls, Email, SMS, and Call Recording

If you submit an enquiry, Full Settlements, a service provider acting on our behalf, or a participating law firm may contact you regarding that enquiry using the contact information you provide.

Communications may include telephone calls, emails, and SMS messages.

SMS communications from Full Settlements are intended to relate to your submitted enquiry, including verification, contact attempts, and reminders, rather than unrelated ongoing marketing.

You may opt out of SMS communications from us by replying STOP, where supported.

Telephone calls made or received in connection with your enquiry may be monitored or recorded for purposes including:

  • Quality assurance;
  • Verification;
  • Training;
  • Compliance;
  • Fraud prevention;
  • Dispute resolution; and
  • Record keeping.

Call recording will be conducted subject to applicable law.

Additional disclosures or consents relating to telephone or SMS communications may be presented when you submit your information.

6. Cookies and Advertising Technologies

Full Settlements may use cookies, pixels, APIs, and similar technologies to operate the website, understand how it is used, measure advertising performance, and improve our services.

These technologies may allow us and our service providers to collect information such as:

  • Device identifiers;
  • IP addresses;
  • Browser information;
  • Website activity;
  • Advertising interactions; and
  • Conversion events.

We currently use Meta advertising and conversion-measurement technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to certain uses of cookies, personal information, targeted advertising, or the sale or sharing of personal information.

Your browser or device may also allow you to limit or block certain cookies or tracking technologies.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate business, legal, security, and compliance purposes.

The retention period may depend on factors including:

  • The nature of the information;
  • The status of your enquiry;
  • Whether an introduction was made;
  • The need to maintain records of communications or consent;
  • Fraud prevention and security requirements;
  • Dispute resolution; and
  • Applicable legal or record-keeping obligations.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymise, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our practices and applicable law.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

Personal information submitted through Full Settlements is stored using secure database and CRM systems used to operate the service.

No website, database, network, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information.

These may include the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we maintain about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • Request deletion of personal information;
  • Request information about how your personal information is used or disclosed;
  • Obtain a copy of certain personal information;
  • Withdraw consent where applicable;
  • Opt out of certain uses or disclosures where applicable;
  • Opt out of qualifying targeted advertising, sale, or sharing where applicable; and
  • Exercise other rights provided by applicable privacy law.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing certain requests and may request information needed to locate your records or confirm that a request relates to you.

Certain rights may be subject to exceptions or limitations under applicable law.

10. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights.

Depending on the law that applies to Full Settlements and the particular processing involved, these rights may include:

  • Accessing personal information;
  • Correcting inaccurate information;
  • Deleting personal information;
  • Obtaining a portable copy of certain information;
  • Receiving information about certain disclosures;
  • Opting out of qualifying sales or sharing of personal information;
  • Opting out of certain targeted advertising;
  • Exercising rights relating to sensitive information; and
  • Appealing certain privacy-request decisions.

Full Settlements will honour applicable state privacy rights to the extent required by law.

Because participating law firms may pay for marketing and lead-generation services associated with introductions made through Full Settlements, we do not rely on a blanket statement that personal information is “never sold.” Some privacy laws define terms such as “sale” or “sharing” more broadly than their ordinary meaning.

Where applicable law provides a right to opt out of qualifying processing, we will provide or honour an appropriate method of exercising that right.

11. Information Concerning Injuries

As part of the questionnaire, Full Settlements asks you to identify the general category of injury you report.

We do not request medical records, detailed treatment histories, medical-provider records, or similar detailed medical documentation through the website.

Some jurisdictions provide additional protections for information relating to an individual’s health or physical condition. Where such requirements apply to our activities, we will process that information in accordance with applicable law.

12. Children’s Privacy

Full Settlements is intended only for individuals 18 years of age or older.

Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information through Full Settlements from anyone under 18.

If we learn that information has been submitted by a person under 18 in circumstances where it should not have been collected, we may delete it as appropriate.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements.

When changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date shown at the top of this policy.

Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice of material changes or seek consent before using information for materially different purposes.
